Actor & Teaching Artist

ABOUT

ME:

Rachel is an actor and artist currently working in NYC after recently returning from a National Tour with Chamber Theatre Productions.   She received her BFA from Syracuse University. Currently she is working with dialect coach Louis Colaianni to get her certification to teach dialects and phonetics to fellow performers.   As a performer herself, she combines emotional chops with intellectual edge. She has worked with acclaimed directors such as Moritz Von Stuelpnagel (Hand to God, Bway) and Bob Moss (Playwrights Horizons). Some credits include Merchant of Venice at Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, directed by Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll and Hyde, Bway) and To Kill a Mockingbird at Syracuse Stage, directed by Timothy J Bond (Oregon Shakes).  Last seen in Romeo and Juliet with Smith Street Stage.  Rachel also recently participated in the Pride Plays at Rattlestick Theatre, having performed in Brave Smiles...Another Lesbian Tragedy (directed by Becky Guy).  You can see Rachel this September on the season premiere of Law and Order SVU.
